The best way to immigrate to Canada withThe immigration Lounge

Canada is one of the few countries that have lenient immigration policies. It has multiple programs through which the candidates can immigrate to Canada with ease based on the types of applications and various pathways that the candidate can choose. The best way to immigrate to Canada is however through permanent residency(PR) status of Canada. The benefits that it provides to the candidates are very similar to the Canadian citizen rights. There is free healthcare, free education and protection against crime under the Canadian Charter 6 of Rights and Freedom.  Further, after two years of continuous stay in Canada the candidate is also free to apply for the Canadian Citizenship. The most popular programs through which the candidate can immigrate to Canada are – Express Entry Program, Provincial Nominee Program(PNP) and Quebec Skilled Workers Program(QSWP)

  • Express Entry Program–It was introduced in the year 2015 as an initiative by the Government of Canada to speed fast the process of immigration for the skilled workers in Canada. It is an online portal in which the candidates are assessed as per the point-based measurement system in which the points are calculated on the factors of age, language proficiency, work experience, education and adaptability. There are three subcategories of the Express Entry Program and selection in one of the three subcategories is important for qualifying through Express Entry Program. These subcategories are – Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Traders Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)– All those candidates who couldn’t qualify through the Express Entry Program can apply for the nomination from a province through the Provincial Nominee Program(PNP). In this, through various pathways a province will give the nomination to the candidates depending on their eligibility and the labor market demand in the province. The eligibility criteria for every province is different and it needs to be met by the candidate for qualification in this program. Although the laws are pretty flexible but it is advisable that the candidate stays in a province which has allotted him the nomination for a minimum of two years before shifting base to a new province.
  • Quebec Skilled Workers Program (QSWP)– The Quebec province has its own eligibility criteria as per the demands of the province and here huge importance is levied on the knowledge of the French language. The candidates have immigrated into two stages in this category- First, the approval is sought from the Quebec government and the certificate of selection is achieved (CSQ) and secondly, the approval from the federal government is sought by the candidate.
